UX designer for Trine
Trine is a purpose-driven company that makes it easy for individuals to invest in solar energy projects in emerging markets.
My role was to lead UX design within an agile, cross-functional team—including a designer, developers, product management, and marketing. I was responsible for the entire UX Design process — from early research and ideation to prototyping, user testing, and iteration.
In 2018, Trine was nominated by inUse for Best User Experience in Sweden, recognizing our commitment to thoughtful, human-centered design.

Skills acquired 💪🏼
I built a system for capturing, organizing, and sharing both qualitative and quantitative user insights — drawn from interviews, usability testing, and customer support data — to inform product decisions and foster cross-team understanding. I also ran multiple rounds of guerrilla and usability testing, developing strong skills in fast, iterative validation and prioritizing insights for maximum impact.
Challenges 🧗
Working as a solo UX designer, coming across all the design phases and involving the whole team and stakeholders in UX activities. Working for Trine was a unique experience. Having a common goal you care about gives a lot of motivation to learn and improve. You can read more on my blogpost.
